utopia

There is this dream you keep having.

In the dream you walk through a lush garden.

It's in one of those Buckminster Fuller Domes.

Inside there are plants from all over the world. It's fully air-conditioned so the plants, and you never get too cold or too warm. you sit there and marvel at all the plants that are gathered in this greenhouse. They form a closed eco-system that is in perfect balance, there are no invasive species and hence no pesticides needed.

There are no other visitors besides you.

Its just you and the plants.

You know every plant inside the garden and how it stands in relation with the rest of them. They are all connected, interdependent.

Inside the garden there is a computer.

It's no regular computer. It's not a PDA, or a mobile phone. Also not a quantum computer. It's much smaller.

The computer is invisible.

...kind of everywhere, in the plants themselves.

You don't have to search for anything. The plants organize themselves, it's growing organically. There are no clearly defined structures. They grow as they please.

Just by being in the garden with the plants you can access all the information about them, it's almost as if you become a plant myself.

You usually have this dream on Sundays, which makes getting up for work even more difficult.
